Cajun uses 6 major seafood, Seafood prominently includes fish and shellfish. Shellfish include various species of molluscs, crustaceans, and echinoderms.

Crab

Crabs are decapod crustaceans which have a very short tail and are covered with a thick shell, or exoskeleton and are armed with a single pair of claws.

Crawfish

are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters (to which they are related). Taxonomically, they are members of the superfamilies Astacoidea and Parastacoidea.

Mussles

a small sea creature that has a black shell with two parts that close tightly together.

Clam

is a common name for several kinds of bivalve molluscs. Clams have two shells of equal size connected by two adductor muscles and have a powerful burrowing foot.

Shrimp

shrimp is used to refer to some decapod crustaceans. Used broadly, shrimp may cover any of the groups with elongated bodies and a primarily swimming mode of locomotion

Lobster

Have long bodies with muscular tails, and live in crevices or burrows on the sea floor. Three of their five pairs of legs have claws, including the first pair, which are usually much larger than the others.
